What are some keys factors that help to contribute to criteria a successful web project?

project essentials pic

As web designers, we love to jump right in and start with the design and development of a website. It is important to follow a well thought out design process to ensure your chances of producing a excellent web solution for your clients.

I wanted to concentrate this post on what you should consider when sitting down for your initial meetings with client. All good website projects on based on the client's brand, client's goals, and the customer's needs.

Make sure you ask detailed questions about the client's brand or the brand direction they want the website to take. You should also ask questions to find out what are the client's goals (efficiency, brand awareness, revenue) in creating their website project. Finally, the needs of the customer should be the primary basis for any design and development decisions.

If the customer's needs are met, your are definitely on the way to creating a successful website project.
